Some people enjoy living together with their parents after they have grown up. They hold the opinion because, living with parents, they can take better care of their parents and vice versa. The Prevalence of Western Holidays

Many young people in China today prefer Western holidays to traditional Chinese festivals. Christmas is now celebrated by the younger generation all over China, and it has become especially popular as a romantic holiday for boyfriends and girlfriends or young married couples. Valentine's Day is also extremely popular, and even Halloween is being celebrated now.

This phenomenon has actually developed quite naturally in recent decades due to our educational system's focus on English study and therefore on English-speaking cultures. To many students, Western culture has become a symbol of self-expression and freedom from restraint. Celebrating Western holidays has become a way for students to express their love of something different from traditional Chinese culture, and to have fun together with their own generation.

In my opinion, it's fine for students learning English and studying English-speaking cultures to celebrate Western holidays with their teachers and classmates. However, the way I see it, unless the young people later go abroad to live in those cultures, there is no reason for them to continue to celebrate them. We Chinese should hold on to our traditional festivals, the festivals which we have celebrated for centuries.

Adaptation Should Not Go Too Far From the Classics

In recent years, many classics, especially the Four Great Classical Novels, have been adapted in improper ways. For examples, in a TV series adapted from Journey to the West, Monkey King ridiculously falls in love with an evil spirit. It has gone too far from the original version in which the upright Monkey shows no mercy to ant evil spirit.

Various reasons account for this phenomenon. Firstly, readers' or audiences' preference plays a critical role. In this market economy, where there is demand, there is supply. So many playwriters or directors cater for these people's need. Secondly, some producers want to attract people and make profit.

To curb this phenomenon, I think two measures should be taken. First, it's necessary to change the way people treat classics. An adapted version that goes too far from the original one is not merely disrespect to the author, but also misleads the readers or the audiences. Second, the concerned authority should check and ban TV series,videos or books that spoofclassics.

the majority of us will claim to show respect for them and not to look down upon them. it is true. most people have got a shock at their diligence. at present, a large quantity of the blind is learning the traditional chinese treatment, such as massage and acupuncture. and after opening a shop, they can usually get well paid. some people without arms have learned writing with their feet. what’s more, people with a moving handicap can do work very well, even if they can only move their head and mouth. not to mention hawking for example. so far as i know, not long before it is reported such two persons. both of them do very well in computer. one is a girl, who is just round twenty years. with a pen in her mouth, she makes flash. in spite of her disability, she still gets tens of thousands yuan per month. the other is a forty-year-old man. he manages the computer as well as the girl. anyway he has succeeded in making a programme, which recorded his own language.

never is the way for disabled people to success easy. apart from hard work, they need special patience and will, which are the key to success. often we’re moved by their experiences. then we will respect them and help them.

as the god seems as if not equal to disabled people, we should help them. some day when you meet a blind person in the street, go to help him/ her cross the street or show him/ her the way; some day when you meet a disabled person in a bus, give your seat to him/ her; some day you meet a disabled beggar, offer him some money; some day when you talk with a disabled person, encourage him/ her and let him/ her know the world is still beautiful. not only should we treat disabled people equally, but even more well!
