我国有许多传统文化，其中，我最喜欢的还是端午节。
今天是农历五月初五，是端午节，在这一天人们要包粽子，吃粽子，划龙舟，而且这天也要纪念屈原。
听妈妈说，屈原是楚国的'臣子，但是他的报复得不到君王的认可。只能跳江，人们为了纪念屈原，就把粽子投到江里，认为鱼吃饱了，就不会吃屈原的尸体。因此端午节就这样来的。所以这天要包粽子，划龙舟。
今天妈妈说要教我包粽子，只见妈妈把棕叶包成漏斗形，然后把米到一半进去，把蜜枣或酱肉放进去，再把米倒满，接着把粽叶盖上，最后用绳子把粽子绑好。把包好的粽子放到锅里煮，过了一会香喷喷的粽子就好了
我国还有许多传统节日，但我还是最喜欢端午节。

我们家乡的端午节是要全家一起包粽子吃粽子的。因为以前古代是要考状元的，所以要全家一起吃粽子包粽子，代表了“全家中”。
我们家乡是这样包粽了的：先把两片叶子叠在一起，然后在上面放一层拌好的糯米，再放一层绿豆仁，接着放一层腌过的肥猪肉，最后再各放一层绿豆仁和糯米，把叶子卷起来，绑上绳子。一个大大的粽子就包好了!
我们家乡还会划龙舟。一阵鼓声传来，“龙舟来了!”我兴奋地对妈妈说。人们也欢呼起来，“加油，加油。”这样的场面可真热闹啊!
