赛龙舟

Dragon boat race

赛龙舟，是端午节的主要习俗。相传古时楚国人因舍不得贤臣屈原投江死去，划船追赶拯救。他们争先恐后，追至洞庭湖时不见踪迹。之后每年五月五日划龙舟以纪念之。借划龙舟驱散江中之鱼，以免鱼吃掉屈原的身体。竞渡之习，盛行于吴、越、楚。

吃粽子

荆楚之人在五月五日煮糯米饭或蒸粽糕投入江中，以祭祀屈原，为恐鱼吃掉，故用竹筒盛装糯米饭掷下，以后渐用粽叶包米代替竹筒。

驱五毒

古人将蛇、蝎、壁虎、蜈蚣、蟾蜍等称为五毒。民谣说："端午节，天气热，五毒醒，不安宁。"每到端午节，人们用彩色纸把五毒剪成剪纸，或贴在门、窗、墙、炕上，或系在儿童的手臂上，以避诸毒。

饮雄黄酒

雄黄本属矿物，含有三硫化砷成分，与酒混合，即成雄黄酒，用以驱虫解五毒。小儿涂于头、额、耳、鼻、手、足心，并洒墙壁问，以法诸毒。民间俗语有"饮了雄黄酒，百病都远走"。

悬艾叶菖蒲

民谚说："清明插柳，端午插艾"。在端午节，家家都洒扫庭除，以菖蒲、艾条插于门眉，悬于堂中。并用菖蒲、艾叶、榴花、蒜头、龙船花，制成人形或虎形，称为艾人、艾虎;制成花环、佩饰，美丽芬芳，妇人争相佩戴，用以驱瘴。

钟馗捉鬼，是端午节习俗，在江淮地区，家家悬钟馗像，用以镇宅驱邪。

佩香囊

端午节小孩佩香囊，传说有避邪驱瘟之意，实际是用于襟头点缀装饰。香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑可爱。

端午节有许多的习俗，如吃棕子、赛龙舟等。在我妈妈的故乡三明就有一种“插茱萸”的习俗。

茱萸是一种草，它细细长长的，又是绿油油的。每到端午节，当地的老人们就会在自家的每一个门的两旁都插上一?茱萸，以求神灵保佑平安。

有一次端午节，我们一家人回到了三明。那天，我第一次看到外公、外婆插茱萸。只见外公搬来一节长梯，在门的旁边(门框前)架好，然后小心翼翼地拿出一?茱萸草，拜了拜天，口里念念有词，然后慢慢地爬上梯子。最后，外公仔细找这门边的裂缝，等到找到了裂缝之后，再把那一?茱萸草插上去，然后下来。

我们和外公在远处得意洋洋望着大大小小的门上被我们用心插上的茱萸。微风徐徐吹过，门旁的茱萸在微风中轻轻摇摆着身体，好像笑这对我们说“放心吧!我一定回保佑大家平安的!”

这就是我的家乡的端午节习俗之一插茱萸。但是，随这时代的进步，越来越少人会要想要插茱了。

所以，我向大家提议：大家要保持这种习俗把古老又悠久的'习俗一代又一代地传下去。

今天是端午节，是我国最传统、最古老的节日。我们小区到处喜气洋洋，一派节日的气氛。

端午节有许多习俗，比如：划龙船、吃粽子、系五丝线等等。当然，我妈妈在太阳出来之前已经把五丝线系在了我的手腕和脚脖上了。听妈妈说，五丝绳也叫长命缕，是爸爸、妈妈希望孩子能长命百岁，多么美好的期望啊!

晚上，妈妈买回来一包粽子。粽子用竹叶包裹着，仿佛一个个绿娃娃似的，老远就闻到一股甘甜的清香沁入肺腑。剥开竹叶咬一口，糯米发红，再咬一口，香甜润滑，真是又香又甜，好吃极了!一边吃着粽子，我一边想起了屈原这个历史人物。当年屈原因被小人出卖，含冤投江自杀。当地百姓去汨罗江打捞尸体也没成功，就向汨罗江中扔了鸡蛋和熟米。据说这样鱼虾吃饱了就不会去吃屈原的尸体。

妈妈还熬了草莓汤，红红的草莓衬着那浓浓的汤，真是一道美味呀!

今年的端午节，我们过得很开心。
