What's more, it is not rare for some to find their bosom friends and even Mr. /Mrs. Right. But as a double-edged sword, making friends without physically meeting each other undoubtedly has evils--tragedies occur when cyber-friends finally decide to date. Not coming singly but in pairs, some spouses get divorced because one party falls in love with cyber-lovers.
The network renders people convenient and efficient means to get in touch with the rest of the world and we should make good use of it instead of falling victims to it. [评析]

Nowadays there is growing concern on the serious problem of energy shortage. Many people worry that energy resources on the earth will be exhausted if we use them in an unchecked way. And they believe that the energy shortage will cause serious problems and even crisis. Conserving energy is one of the measures which have been taken to solve the problem of energy shortage. For example, some countries have a daylight saving system to use less electricity for lighting. Also, some cities have enforced some facilities for saving water at public places such as rest rooms and bars. Still more, some have enforced serious penalties on overuse of electricity, water, and farming land. By these means, people hope the drain on energy resources could be slowed down. In a word, it is high time that serious consideration was given to conserving energy. Only through immediate and effective action, can we human beings survive and enjoy life as desired. [评析]

It is obvious that there are some problems in college English
learning. In my opinion, something most discouraging is that many
students find difficulty in communicating with a native speaker although they have learned English for many years.
There are two reasons explaining this phenomenon. Firstly, most of the students, even many teachers of English pay little attention to the use of the language. To them, the most important thing of learning English is to memorize some grammatical rules and enlarge the vocabulary. Secondly, many students have not realized the real purpose of learning English. They hold that they study English to pass tests, not to master a useful tool for their own use.
To change this situation, my suggestion is that more emphasis be put on improving communicative abilities in English. For example, why not advocate that the listening and speaking should be included in the test of English at various levels? [评析]

Cheating on exams is becoming a serious problem on campus. 23% of students have ever been found doing so on their exams. Some of them copy from each other, some take out their textbooks or reference books to copy, still some use the modern communication tools such as mobile phone as a way to get related information. It is obvious that cheating on exams has bad effect on students' academic performances as well as morality practice. Many remarkable factors contribute to the cheating in exams. First,some students just play time away and want to pass the exam without efforts. And some students are under great pressure from parents and they fear to fail the exams. Second, college or universities must bear the blame for their placing more emphasis on grades than learning. Rigid grading system promotes cheating.
How can such an unhealthy phenomenon be eliminated? In my opinion, there are two ways we can adopt. First of all, a severe punishment should be put into effect to prevent students from cheating. In addition, we shouldre form our examination system to make it a real effective tool to measure students' abilities.
