Everyone may encounter a scene when he or she wonders what the meaning and purpose of life is. Answers to this question vary from person to person. As for me, I agree with the view that the meaning of life is to discover your gift and the purpose of life is to make the best of it.
On one hand, one’s gift could be the source of his inner happiness, providing spiritual impetus and correct orientation. Take the world-renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang as an example. His gift was noticed before he was 3 years old, which laid the foundation of his glorious life. On the other hand, proper use of talent helps people to realize their value in a positive way, thus making contribution to the society as a whole. For instance, Isaac Newton made a universally amazing discovery by digging into his gift and finding the Newton’s law of gravitation.
In conclusion, let’s search for our true gift and utilize it to the fullest to achieve a happy and valuable life.

The importance of saving money
As far as we are concerned, today most Chinese college students are in favor of the idea of saving money for later use, while quite many others think it is much better to use tomorrow’s money today.
In my opinion, I agree with the former. Firstly, saving money help people get rid of some difficulties such as accidents, disease or other mishaps. As we all know that, when one faces such tragedies as fir damage or fatal disease, one would need a large amount of money to survive such difficulties. Secondly, saving money can give one a sense of satisfaction. Since most people work hard every day, what makes them feel happy and satisfied is that they find they have accumulated a large deposit through their hard-working, and they will go on doing their best to work. Thirdly, saving money allows one to give a helping hand to others who are in need of money. With money available at the moment, one can offer badly needed help to those in temporary difficulty, say, those who are suffering from flood, famine, a car accident, or things like that. Yet taking a loan from a bank is often too costly. Thus, the timely help will be rewarded with gratitude.
All in all, it is useful for college students to save money, and it is also an important aspect of the Chinese conception of virtue.
